Bob (Robert) Bowerman started in the agency in February 1989. Bob started with property and casualty insurance business and few years later received his life and health license. Bob manages the crop insurance business, which he knows quite well since he has farmed all his life and owned his own farm since 1977. Bob actually purchased his crop insurance through Art Kirschenmann, the original owner of the agency. Bob has been a member of the North Dakota Professional Insurance Association and has served on the board of directors on the NDPIA. Bob sees great rewards in seeing his customers with the best coverage available towards protecting their financial interest in a time of need.
Bob is still farming NE of Steele but travels between the farm and Bismarck (where they purchased a home). They have a daughter who lives in Jamestown with her husband and their 3 children. Their son's children live in Bismarck with their mother.
Bob loves to farm, hunt deer, travel, pickup pulls, classic autos and to visit!

Josh Hackman started in our agency in March of 2018. He became a Property and Casualty Licensed Agent as soon as he could as Josh was eager to learn the insurance business. He also wanted to get to know the customers and help them with their insurance risks they face. Having the technology and farming background, Josh is very beneficial to the crop customers, especially since technology is becoming very important today in Agriculture. Josh works closely with his dad, Bob Hackman, (who is the agent and manager of our Bismarck location) learning home, auto, commercial and farm insurance along with getting to know his customers.
Josh has worked in Steele the last several years with BEK Communications and attended college for telecommunications where he began a career in technology.
Josh lives in Bismarck with his daughter, Adeline. Josh also farms his grandparents place north of Robinson along with his dad, Bob Hackman (Bob is the agent and manager of our Bismarck location) and loves the farm life. He has stated that he is even closer to his passion of farming. Some of Josh's hobbies include taking trips, snowmobiling and fishing.

Prior to Rebecca's employment at Bowerman Insurance, she worked at the Stamart Truck stop for 15 years managing, traveling and running the Bismarck store. She thought it was time for a change when she did a complete 180 and decided to try out the medical industry and worked at a medical supply store for little over a year before she got the opportunity to join the insurance business.
Rebecca just recently completed the Property and Casualty (P&C) Classes and is now a ND P & C Licensed Agent! She is excited to help people service their insurance needs! We at Bowerman Insurance welcome Rebecca and know she is ready to take on the responsibilities of being a licensed insurance agent, especially with Melissa helping her!
